I discovered Tarot my first year in college. It combines my love of visual art and mystic woowoo hippy sh*t.
I hand-drew a major arcana for NIN fans on usenet around 1996. This inspired me to begin creating the Infinite Halo Tarot in… 1997. It went on hiatus in 2015. As part of the Red Bones Art Cards project, I made a full deck of surly pink bunnies in 2007.
I initially did readings with non-traditional decks, such as British Pub Coasters and Cards Against Humanity, as performance art, but had enough relevant insights to impress my audience. Pattern matching can lead to deeper connections, even if by accident. I have read with actual Tarot decks at events like Night Market and Balsa Man.
