Art by Junction – Pysanky

I drew my first pysanka in 1988. I bought my first kiskta (wax pen) in 1999.

Each egg takes an average of 3 hours, and I generally sell them far below cost. Custom designs would oblige me to bill for my time. Or, you can try what a lot of my friends do: Sigh loudly and wish there was some such design, and hope I am inspired in a timely fashion. Note: this doesn’t not always work. But feel free to try.

Finished eggs are available for purchase at Sign of the Dove Gallery in Porter Square.

There is an Instagram set up for my more recent pysanky. That site is backed up, somewhat, at flickr.
