September: "Tribal"

I decided to really have fun with crosshatching on this egg. The black didn't take as well, so I double-dipped it into violet.

The peanut gallery voted this one best of the batch and claimed it had a vaguely Tribal Textile look to it.

Interesting. It was at an Upstart Aussies performance that I had the epiphany. My pointless doodles WERE my artform. I was strangling myself with my need to make Meaningful art. Other artists can probably assure you this often results in No art.

Since then, well... I've made some more eggs.
