The Next Egg

Red Egg
orange/light red/dark red.

I mixed two new colors, green and orange, ostensibly to do some Halloween themed eggs during my roommate's "anti-social" gathering.

But... I got caught up in crosshatching.

In fact, the tentacled white blob on this egg was an "Oops!" - fixed up so I could theoretically paint over it after the batiking was done. However, it ended up being some of the only solid color block in this batch of eggs. It's grown on me, I think I'll keep it.

NOTE:
Some of the dyes developed *MOLD* since April. Ew. Once I scooped out the moldy part, they seemed to work fine. One site suggested microwaving the dyes every month, or as needed.
